The Terraces, Quarry Hill’s traditional assisted living community, provides just the right amount of day-to-day support so you (or your loved one) can feel confident and assured. In keeping with our philosophy of assisting with, not doing for, life here strikes a balance between privacy and community, independence and support.
Whether you choose a one-bedroom or efficiency apartment or a companion suite, you’ll have your own private quarters, decorated with the furniture and belongings you love. Each bright, carpeted apartment comes with full bath; kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, and microwave; and one or more closets. Just outside your door, you’ll find inviting sunrooms and other gathering spots, a welcoming dining room where you’ll enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals, plus sun-splashed terraces just right for tea or lemonade with friends.
But for most, the best part of assisted living at Quarry Hill is the sheer comfort of our care. In addition to their individualized care plans, all residents benefit from a service package that goes well beyond basic, including access to onsite physician care delivered by our Senior Services Physician Specialist, personal care assistance, an advanced emergency-response system, 24-hour staff supervision, ’round-the-clock licensed nurse coverage, three healthful and delicious meals daily, weekly housekeeping and laundry, scheduled transportation, an extensive activities program, and more.
Quarry Hill is one of the few retirement communities of its kind in Maine that accept a variety of payment sources. Residents may use MaineCare, long-term care insurance, and/or private resources to pay for assisted living care.
