Assisted Living
During a recent visit with their mother Mabel Grey, Arlene Moody and Thelma Dean expressed their enthusiasm for the Courtyard Program at Quarry Hill’s Anderson Inn. "We’d been giving Mom 24-hour care at home for the last year. But she’d gotten so she didn’t want to get out of bed at all," says Thelma. "She’d lost interest, and her arthritis was hurting
so much," explains Arlene. "We knew we weren’t
doing her any good anymore." Read

Like several of my Terraces neighbors, I decided to move here after a stay in Quarry Hill’s center for skilled nursing care. Choosing to move to assisted living isn’t always easy. But the nurses, aides, and therapists I’d met in the nursing center were so kind and helpful; they assured me even my cat, Blue, would be welcome. I knew Quarry Hill was the place for me. Read more.
Mom made the decision to move to the Terraces after a brief illness. The choice was certainly a good one. The staff was wonderful, helping us make plans and get Mom settled in her new home. At all times and in every way, the staff respected Mom’s needs, wishes, and independence. Read more.
Skilled Nursing Care and Rehabilitation

“So warm, so healing…” I was so pleased with the skilled nursing care I received at the Gardens at Quarry Hill. The bed was comfortable, and the food—especially the lasagna!—was delicious. But the staff was the best. My occupational therapist showed me how to get in and out of a bathtub safely. And the nurses always responded right away whenever I needed anything. One even sat with me a while when I wasn’t feeling well. The atmosphere at Quarry Hill is so warm, so healing. I’d recommend it to anyone. ~B. Dickey |
“So many of you went above and beyond…” I want to thank all of you for the help, patience, and love you showed my wife, Lois, during her recent stay at the Gardens at Quarry Hill. So many of you went above and beyond to make Lois’s recuperation a positive and pleasant experience. The nurses brought happiness into the room every time they visited. When friends came for a game of bridge, a member of the maintenance staff set up a card table, and a kitchen worker brought a pitcher of iced tea. The physical and occupational therapists were terrific. And the van driver was so kind—she even gave my wife flowers. Thank you all again. You deserve to feel very proud of what you do. ~W. Cross |
