"Mom made the decision to move to the Terraces after a brief illness. The choice was certainly a good one. The staff was wonderful, helping us make plans and get Mom settled in her new home. At all times and in every way, the staff respected Mom’s needs, wishes, and independence."
Mom’s apartment is cozy and bright, her suitemate has become a dear friend, and there’s a lovely sunroom just steps from their door. It’s hard to find Mom at home, however, and impossible to keep track of her many activities. The dining and activity rooms are lively social centers, but there’s also a kitchen/dining area for family gatherings. Recently, four generations of our family celebrated Mom’s birthday and the birth of her newest great-grandchild there. It was great fun.
Mom would be the first to tell you how much she likes Quarry Hill and the great people there. Boredom will certainly never be a problem for her. In fact, if you’re planning to stop by to see her, better call first to make sure she’s home! ~S. Armbrecht
